Philips' Wireless Music Center could possibly be the ultimate hi-tech dream machine. Not only is the main stereo unit a beautifully designed system that can store up to 750 CDs as MP3 files, but you can connect up to five audio stations to it and dot them around the house, allowing CD-quality music to follow the listener seamlessly from room to room. Don't ask, just buy. Philips also claims the price of the system is much cheaper than rivals with the main unit to retails for $999 and the speaker systems selling for $300 each. The music is streamed in either MP3 or WMA formats and distributed to the speakers via 802.11b wireless
