Hanamachi

Mika Wassenarr, a Canadian of Japanese and Dutch parents, designs Hanamachi ( which means flower town in Japanese) and her collection features Asian influences from India to Thailand. She says she strives to create beautiful low-maintenance garments to accompany a ‘nomadic’ lifestyle. The complete collection features Pima Cotton tees with tops and bottoms made of bamboo fabric and linen dye for vintage effects, along with fleeces, hoodies, and sweatpants. The line also contains jeans and capris made from Japanese denim.
